1Unplug printer and let cool.

2Open the printer’s rear door and take out the two hex head screws (white arrow) that secure the fuser. Slide the fuser out.

3When reinstalling, slide the fuser into the printer until screw holes line up, then reinstall the screws.

1Open top cover.

2Remove toner cartridge.

3Locate green hook under lid (black arrow).
-
4Use hook to gently lift up transfer roller from left side and pull out from right side.
-
5Install new roller. Avoid touching the transfer roller with your fingers, as this can cause contamination and adversely affect print quality.

6Remove paper protector.

1Open MP tray.

Remove inner black cover by pressing lock tabs at top middle (see arrow). -

Remove pickup roller by pinching lock tab (arrow 1). -

Using a flat screwdriver, gently pry up under separation pad to remove (arrow 2). -
5Install new separation pad (note keyed slots).

6Install new roller.

7Reinstall cover

Remove tray 2. -

Open the automatic two-sided path door on the front of the printer (HP LaserJet P2015d,HP LaserJet P2015dn, and HP LaserJet P2015x printers only). -

Place the printer on the work surface with the front of the printer facing up. -

Pull the white tabs outward, and rotate the tabs up. -

Slide the right tab to the right, and leave the tab in this position throughout the procedure. -

Slide the pickup roller assembly to the right, and remove the left end cap. -

- Remove the old pickup roller.
- Save both idler rollers that sit on either side of the pickup roller; transfer to new roller.

Insert the left side of the new pickup roller into the left slot (1), and insert the right side (the sidethat has the notches in the shaft) into the right slot (2). -

Place the end cap over the shaft on the left side, push the end cap to the right, and rotate thetab downward into position. -
10Rotate the shaft until the notches engage and the shaft clicks into place.

11Push the right tab to the left, and rotate the tab downward into position.

1Remove lower cassette tray.

Locate pickup roller (white arrow). -
3Remove old roller by pinching lock tabs.

4Install new roller.
